Art News:
Hello Friend,
A while back, the N.A.C. asked me to participate in "Prairie Scene",
a two week celebration of all things creative, artistic and vibrant
from the prairie provinces of Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
I jumped at the chance and am hosting "Playing with Dimensions",
33 artists in clay, glass, wood, fibre and mixed media from Saskatchewan
and curated by the Craft Council.

We do have a long weekend fast approaching, so please take a moment
make a note of TWO openings next week...Tuesday and Wednesday (26th and 27th).
The first, Tuesday, is part of "Swarm" where you can "Swarm" all the locations, events
and galleries all evening long. There's even a party from 11.00pm to 2.00am at Saw
Gallery. My part of the party (the party of the first part) will be from 6.00pm to 9.00pm.

The BETTER (in my humble opinion) will be the Wednesday Opening, uniquely for our
event: "Playing with Dimensions". Four of the artists are flying in from Saskatchewan,
as are the Juror Mel Bolen, the Craft Council Chair and from Regina, the sensitive six string
stylings of Jack Semple.
Jack Semple - acoustic live ('07)
Jack Semple - rocking studio session
('92) vintage
So live music, a catered party AND Saskatchewan's best work in all these different media.
Starting at 5.00pm, some short V.I.P. remarks at 5.30pm and we're off!
Friend, don't miss this!!
I know it's the middle of the week, but we'll wind things down around 8.30pm.
Come out and give a big Ottawa welcome to Saskatchewan's artists,
see you Wednesday
(and Tuesday too, if you can)
