Dale Chihuly's New Works will feature a selection of gorgeous, ethereal works from the artist's brand new Silvered Blanket Cylinder, White Cylinder, and Soft Cylinder series, as well as an array of archived pieces from earlier cylinder series. Selected to complement the Dale Chihuly's Northwest exhibition, which will be presented at the nearby Tacoma Art Museum this summer, the works included in this Tacoma gallery show are light, fresh, contemporary, and entirely new.

The title of Venetian maestro Lino Tagliapietra's upcoming exhibition, Voglio Ballare tutta la Notte, is inspired by lyrics from of one of the artist's favorite songs. Meaning "I want to dance the whole night long," the title refers to Lino's desire to live his life to the fullest, to passionately explore every possible opportunity to live, love, learn and create. The exhibition will feature a comprehensive selection of works ranging from old favorites such as the exuberant Dinosaurs and Bilbaos to brand new aventurine pieces and works from the sophisticated new Fuji and Osaka series.

This summer marks Pilchuck Glass School's 40^th Anniversary. This special group exhibition in our Tacoma Gallery will celebrate this important milestone for the school by presenting a selection of work by artists who've been involved with Pilchuck in a variety of capacities throughout the years.
