Entries are now open for the 2011 Small Works Competition and Exhibition. Entries can be any medium, any theme, framed or unframed but must be no greater in size than 30x30x30cm. CALLING FOR ENTRIES

Two new group shows curated by curatorial interns at BSG this year: Fashion as Art Curated by Jasmin McNeil will showcase a wide range of unique works that depict fashion as a form of personal expression. All mediums will be considered such as sculpture, painting, fashion photography, workbook sketches, clothing and costumes. Fresh Forms, curated by Jack Willet will revolve around the idea that the simple, fluid forms within works of art - whether brush strokes, ink lines, or movement within the captured image - embody the essence of the artist. JOINT SHOWS

We recognise that it is difficult for many artists to afford putting on their own show so we are inviting artists who are interested in showing with one, two or three others to email samples of your work to tessa@bsgart.com.au and we will pair you up with other appropriate artists to have a joint show. In this way you can have a show of your work for as little as $225 including invites, advertising and opening night expenses.
