Spring is Swinging at the Clocktower

Dear AIR Listeners and Clocktower Gallery Goers,

On May 27th, the Clocktower will host its third Warper Party Radio Extravaganza with Mezzo-soprano avant-genre artist Carolyn “Honeychild" Coleman. The performance starts at 6pm so don't be late!

By popular demand, Michael Stipe's Collapse Into Now Film Project has been EXTENDED until Friday, May 6th, 2011. So if you haven't seen it yet, make sure to swing by. Films are screened continuously Monday through Friday from 12 - 5pm. No reservations necessary.

To further entice you to the Clocktower, the punk-rock/visual art/video/installation duo Ian Vanek and Matt Reilly of Japanther completed their Time Sync Laboratory Residency. During their stay at the Clocktower, Vanek and Reilly built a site-specific installation, hosted three community dinners prepared by Chef Jenn Su, and captured scores of stories in their telephone recording booth. Their installation is now on view and in the works is an audio art piece based on the telephone booth stories, which will be broadcast exclusively on ARTonAIR.org. Stay tuned!
