Elliot Collins heads off for residencies in Europe
Elliott Collins leaves next month for six months in Europe having secured artist residencies at the Camac Art Centre in Marnay in France and at the Duende Studio in Rotterdam. He has also recently launched a new art work at Te Tuhi in Pakuranga where he got community groups to work with him to literally tie together the phrase "The World is held together so thinly". You can have a look at this here. He's been busy! And if you really want to get an idea of how his mind runs about, you can read the artist book he published on the occasion of his just finished exhibition in the gallery. A Small Book Consisting of Far Too Many Footnotes is still available for just $40. Contact us if you would like a copy.
