Bradley art professor, students exhibit work in Art Chicago exhibition

Peoria, IL (April 29, 2011) A Bradley art professor and four Bradley sculpture students have their work included in the Art Chicago exhibition on display through May 2 at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago.

Fisher Stolz, Associate Professor of Art, has a large-scale work on display outside the Merchandise Mart on Orleans Street and is showing a small-scale work inside at the Chicago Sculpture International exhibit in Art Chicago.

Students Amber Cancino, Richard Welsh, Brittany Takata, and Theresa Stoodley as well as adjunct instructor Jaci Willis and alumnus Kyle Chipman are also exhibiting small indoor sculptures at the CSI portion of the exhibition. All of the work is for sale.

Art Chicago has work on exhibit from internationally known artists represented by the top galleries in the world. It is an annual international fair of contemporary and modern art, offering curators, collectors, artists and art enthusiasts a comprehensive survey of current and historic work.

The exhibition is open today until 7p.m.; Saturday from 11 a.m.to 7p.m.; Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.; and Monday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.  For ticket information see http://www.artchicago.com/attend-the-show/dates-and-times.
