Pour célébrer ses 37 ans, La Centrale organise une soirée de collecte de fonds exclusive où vous êtes cordialement invitées*!
Le 19 mai prochain, 37 œuvres originales généreusement offertes par des artistes seront mises à la disposition d’un groupe restreint d’invitées. Ces œuvres prêtes à accrocher seront mises en ligne en mai et exposées en galerie à partir du 18 mai 2011.
Au prix de 150 $, chacun aura droit à une œuvre exposée. Dès l’ouverture des portes à 19h, chaque détentrice de billet recevra à son arrivée un numéro qui déterminera l’ordre de l’attribution des œuvres, pendant que cocktails et canapés seront servis. Puis à 20h, la sélection des œuvres débutera. Assurez-vous d’arriver tôt, car c’est première arrivée, première servie!
La célébration se poursuit avec des performances par Christine Brault, Michelle Lacombe, Monique Mathieu et Victoria Stanton, ainsi que des DJ sets par Donzelle et Dyke Rivers.
Chaque billet vous donne non seulement accès à une œuvre d’art, mais démontre votre appui pour le mandat de La Centrale, son travail et sa place importante au sein de la communauté montréalaise. Les bénéfices de cette soirée serviront directement à financer la programmation de La Centrale, ses expositions et ses événements.
Plusieurs des artistes ayant généreusement fait don d’œuvres seront présentes à la soirée. Et puisque chaque détentrice de billet peut venir accompagnée d’un invité, toutes les raisons sont bonnes pour venir célébrer en grand La Centrale!

This year, La Centrale is 37. To celebrate, we’re having an exclusive fundraising night of festivities, and you’re invited!
On May 19th, 37 original artworks donated by artists who value and appreciate La Centrale will be made available to a select group of guests. These ready-to-display works will be showcased on our website in May, and exhibited in the gallery on May 18th, 2011.
Tickets cost just $150 and entitle you to leave with an original work of art. Each ticket holding guest will receive a number in the order of their arrival to the fundraiser that will dictate the order in which artwork is selected. The fun starts at 7pm with cocktails and canapés, and at 8pm, the art selection begins. Make sure to get to the fundraiser early, as first-come, first-pick.
The celebration continues throughout the evening with performances by Christine Brault, Michelle Lacombe, Monique Mathieu and Victoria Stanton, and dj sets by Donzelle and Dyke Rivers.
A ticket purchased for this event sees that you not only receive an original artwork, but demonstrates your support of La Centrale, the work that it shows, and it's place in the Montreal community. All money raised will go directly towards La Centrale’s programming, exhibitions and events.
With only 37 tickets available, make sure to get yours soon to secure an original piece of art for just $150.
Artists who donated works will be in attendance, and we invite every ticket holder to bring a guest to celebrate La Centrale!
