Session

‘The
Never Ending Mural’ - an ambitious community project that will transform
the face of Ipswich invites everybody to make
their mark. Artwork created by the community will be installed at a number of
locations across the town for its residents and visitors to enjoy
(see
artists impression of finished work).
The
project, curated by John D Edwards needs artists, (and anyone handy with a
paintbrush and interpreting/ scaling up the work of others) to assist in the
interpretation and installation of the evolving artwork – beginning on
the Waterfront during the week beginning 13th June.
Resident
artists are invited to attend a briefing session at Ipswich Art
School on 11th May to
find out more about how to get involved and what the work will entail. Even if
you are unable to volunteer in June, further help is needed for mural
installations at Civic Drive
underpass in August and Crown Street Car Park in October.
