The Mission to Seafarers Victoria - Maritime Art show October 2011

The annual maritime art exhibition was introduced by the Mission to Seafarers Victoria in 2002 to promote excellence in maritime and seafaring subjects in art. Artists nationally enter their works responding to the theme “The Relationship Between Humanity and the Sea” vying for the first prize, sponsored by ANL Container Lines. The exhibition is hosted at the historic seafarers centre 717 Flinders Street, Docklands during the month of October attracting over 3,000 visitors and collectors of maritime art.
