Fusion of the Divide interrogates the continually evolving dialog between art and architecture. Once stifled by a formal language, architects and artists have developed an attitude that questions and challenges their surroundings and the conventions of established disciplines. Materiality, navigation, memory, and topography are all areas considered by the artists. New realities emerge from a recognisable architectural language and mutate into hyper-realities, while the inner self is exposed onto external structures. The symbiotic relationship between art and architecture has, and still is, advancing. This exhibition aims to provide a discourse between these practices and a platform for a dynamic range of concepts and approaches.

Candid Arts Trust is now taking applications for the forthcoming Islington Contemporary Art & Design Fair.
The Islington Contemporary Art & Design Fair is a unique event specially organised by Candid Arts Trust for the promotion of up to two hundred artists and designers from the UK and Europe.
PLAYBACK SOUTH
Playback South public shows are on the first Wednesday of every month at Candid Cafe.
8pm
Tickets for all shows £8 (£5 conc) on the door.
Playback is the theatre of the unexpected. It takes the audience on a journey through each others' hearts and minds. Surprising stories spring into magical life, words are made flesh and the everyday brings forth epics.

Self contained studio with good light. Approx 150 sq/ft.
£390 license fee per month which includes rates but not electricity.
We would require 1 months deposit.
