Making a Great Art Museum Symposium

What makes an art museum a 'must go' destination for visitors? What are the emerging global trends in museology and what are the challenges involved in developing a 'great' art museum?

These were some of the questions that were addressed
at a symposium "Making a Great Art Museum: Contending with Southeast Asian Modernities and Art", an event jointly organised by the NHB Academy and the Institute of Policy Studies. The event was held on 13 July 2011 at LASALLE College of the Arts.
