Renowned visual artist, musician, and ISSUE Board Member Robert Longo says “As visual artists we’ve had the unusual benefit of having our work financially appreciated by the public, yet so many of our peers in music, sound, dance and performance – whose risk-taking work informs our work as visual artists – go underrecognized or undersupported. ISSUE Project Room is a prime resource for the artists of our community. It provides them with the support they need to continue to grow their work. I’m proud to be part of a community of visual and multi-disciplinary artists working to ensure that spaces like ISSUE continue to thrive."

Says Executive Director Ed Patuto, “ISSUE has an incredible future ahead. We just received additional support from the City for our capital project to renovate 110 Livingston in Downtown Brooklyn, and we estimate opening in the space in 2013. We’re honored to have so many talented artists donating work and helping us reach our $100,000 goal. These funds will support our continued programming which is vital to the ecology of our community.”
