Peter Rich - Learnt in Translation, and Andrew Nair - withdrawings

Architect Peter Rich creates places and spaces that are meaningful, moving and uplifting for all who occupy them. This exhibition showcases drawings, models and photographs of completed projects, as well as design development sketches. Displayed alongside the architectural works are the influences that have shaped Peter and his architecture: his beautiful travel sketches from around the world, his extensive research into space making in Ndebele architecture and examples of African art. Andrew Nair is a teacher and artist. This is his first and much anticipated solo exhibition. His exquisitely rendered pencil drawings have been over ten years in the making. This series traces the contemplative evolution of the artist’s personal growth towards a lightness of being.
