This Week at The Dorsky Saturday, September 17, 5-7 pm Opening reception for Linking Collections, Building Connections: Works from the Hudson Valley Visual Art Collections Consortium. Bringing to light over 150 artworks and the myriad connections that link them together, this exhibition presents fresh perspectives on a century of artistic activity in the Mid-Hudson Valley. The exhibition gathers together paintings, sculptures, furnishings, prints, drawings, photographs, and conceptual works from the permanent collections of the partner organizations of the Hudson Valley Visual Art Collections Consortium (HVVACC). Museum is closed from September 28 to October 2. ___________________________________________________ The Dorsky's Tenth Anniversary Year This summer's events are part of a series of exhibitions and events celebrating the museum's tenth anniversary year. The Dorsky first opened to the public in April 2001 and was officially dedicated on Oct. 20, 2001.
