– A Living History program: The
First Michigan Engineers and Mechanics, Co. E will
be presented from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 17 at the Civil War
Museum. Reenactors will be at the museum to explain the role that
Engineers held in the Civil War. This program is free and open to
the public.
On
Sunday,
September 18, Sunday Funday programs will be presented from 1-4 p.m.
at the Kenosha Public Museum and the Dinosaur Discovery Museum. Go
Outta This World
is the topic at the Kenosha Public Museum, where people can create a
spaceship and visit the exhibit: Fantastic
Worlds, Masters of Science Fiction and Fantasy Art
for inspiration.
At
the Dinosaur
Discovery Museum, kids can Design-A-Dino
using egg cartons, cardboard tubes and their imaginations. The free
programs are sponsored by the Friends of the Museums. Everyone is
welcome to attend.
