theViewergallery
is an online, onsite, popup art gallery, an area and arena devised by artist
Eleanor MacFarlane for art projects, enterprises, artworks and sometimes
collaborations with other artists.
It is a Big Draw day, with drawing activities and
exhibitions:

theLongLine - invites
participants to create a continuous landscape, matching three elements –
Sky, Land and Sea. Whose drawing will yours sit next to – a famous
artist, a child who will grow up to be a famous artist, someone from the other
side of the world, a visionary, a scribbler?

theProgressiveImage -
screening of contemporary Moving Image/Video Art/Animation by artists on the
theme of drawing.
·
Absolute Magnitude - touring
postcard exhibition by current MA Fine Art students on the theme of Sun.
Just pop in, no
booking is necessary and admission is free.

ART 2011 Private View

Join us for this
year’s BHM private view, a chance to celebrate yet another collection of
fantastic art, inspired by black culture, people and issues.
The evening will be an
opportunity to see two of this year’s exhibitions- I am Thenublack, a selection of
contemporary art; and Wall of Sound,
a collection of portraits. There will also be poetry readings by local poet,
Abe Gibson.

Diaspora.
