Plates of Promise
We are happy to announce Art in Bayfront Park Art Fair's involvement with Duluth, Minnesota's Homeless Children. Inspired by the Duluth News Tribunes article on Homeless kids in Duluth schools, Art in Bayfront Park has decided to try to make a difference for these kids. We are working with the public school art teachers to have their students make an artistic plate of any material to donate to the Plates of Promise. The plates will be sold for $10 each in Art in Bayfront Park's Kids Korner during the art fair August 18 and 19, 2012 and all money will go to the Families in Transition program for homeless children.
We are accepting plates from artists as well. If you would like to make a difference for homeless children and would like to donate an artistic plate, please feel free to do so by clicking here: http://www.artinbayfrontpark.com/PlatesOfPromise.htm for instructions.
