of photography
and media studies.

D. Coleman began
writing on photography
in the late 1960s
for the New York Times
& Village Voice. Since
then Coleman
has been an active voice
addressing issues and
practices related
to photography and the
image.
His
current writings in
Photocritic
International
has drawn
global attention and
praise.
The
workshop will be of
interest to reviewers
and writers
on photography, the
lens cultural, visual
literacy, and cultural
studies.
