workshop on Teaching
Photography Online
is designed for current
and future teachers
of photography
and media studies.

and runs for 5 weeks
This
workshop will
explore and investigate
the technical challenges
to teaching photography
online and the strategies
and
best practices (methodology)
for teaching basic
and advanced
photography courses
in the online environment.
The
workshop will model
an interactive learning
environment
using applications
like Moodle, Skype,
webinar apps, pod casts
screen
share and capturing,
while addressing best practices to
teaching online.
The
workshop will be of
interest to any one
involved in the
teaching of photography
or media at all
levels:
university and college,
high school, museum
programs, and
private workshops.
Patrick
Keough has been teaching
online college level
art courses
for over 15 years. Courses
taught
include basic and
advance photography,
art history, digital
art,
and illustration.
