Towards Manifesta 9 (Summer 2012 in Genk, Province of Limburg, Belgium):
Since 2002, the Manifesta Foundation, initiator and co-organiser of the Manifesta Biennial, has produced a series of encounters between specialists from various fields and the members of the Manifesta Network, to discuss the evolving practices of Manifesta and the broader art field, and its relevance in the current political, social and artistic climate. Manifesta Coffee Break 2011 is organised by the Manifesta Foundation in Amsterdam in collaboration with Manifesta 9 in Genk, Limburg, Belgium.

Panel discussion Visual Arts Flanders 2012 at Tate Modern, December 6, 2011
Geert De Proost, representative of the Flemish government in the UK and Flanders House greets the audience with a short welcome referring to the thriving arts scene in Flanders with excellent curators and artists but also art institutions that flourish. Flanders is also home to arts managers that have gone beyond borders and established international careers all over the world, referring hereby to this evening’s host Chris Dercon who joined Tate Modern as of April earlier this year.

Updated Website
Beaufort04 is approaching rapidly. That’s why their website needed a new look. From now on, you can prepare your visit and find lots of practical information on the website, in the section ‘practical’.
You can also take a look back into the highlights of the 3 previous editions in 2003, 2006 and 2009. The website contains a large archive with images from the previous Beauforts.

Cologne Contemporaries goes BCC!
Since 2008 an initiative of young galleries and project spaces known as CC, has regularly organized joint openings and artist talks in order to build networks between local artists as a means to intensify the exchange between both the participating art communicators and their visitors. For four years CC has contributed to Cologne's vividness as a venue for art and culture with these joint events.
