It was a lovely evening with great conversations amongst friends and colleagues, delicious food by Endive, amazing music by Bent Frequency, and the speeches were inspiring â thank you Joe and Lisa. Film Screening: Painters Painting

Emilio de Antonioâs 1972 film classic, Painters Painting, explores the New York scene from 1940 to 1970, featuring interviews with Helen Frankenthaler, Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg, Andy Warhol, and others. This film is the inspiration for our current exhibition, Painters Panting, and offers rare insights into the creative practices of legendary artists.

Film Love Gets Painted

Andy Ditzlerâs much-appreciatedÂ Film LoveÂ series continues with a selection of historical films and videos that connect to our currentÂ Painters PantingÂ exhibition. Abstract and expressionist works by Hans Richter, Stan Brakhage, Len Lye, and members of the Viennese Actionism group will be screened and discussed. Be prepared for colorful gestures and eye-popping effects.
