Summer Workshops - put your sweat to good use!

The Pennsylvania Guild has a craft filled summer designed to leave you breathless and inspired. With our new facility in downtown Lancaster, there's never been a better time to take a w orkshop, browse the Guild Store, and take in the magic of learning!

Our schedule includes on and off site classes, ranging from Plein Aire Painting, Wet Felting, and Japanese Calligraphy, to Enameling, Sewing, and Photography! Join us for a weekend of craft wonderment!

Support a culture of handmade

In 1944, the Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen was formed under the recommendation of Eleanor Roosevelt, encouraging citizens to learn craft as a way to become more self sufficient.

The Guild still proudly embodies the mission of handmade, and offers many opportunities to support craft and the handmade movement; become a Guild Member, donate funds, volunteer with us, or take a workshop to learn a new craft.

We invite you to get involved and advocate for a handmade community!

Gettin' Dirty!

The Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen is getting ready to move to our new facility at 335 N. Queen St ! We need your help in getting settled. If you would like to roll up your sleeves and show off your muscles, give us a call at (717) 431-8706, or email us at handmade@pacrafts.org. Here are some days that we would love to have your help:

Thursday - May 31
Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday - June 5, 6 & 7
Tuesday & Wednesday - June 12 & 13
Tuesday & Wednesday - June 19 & 20

If you're not available then, don't despair! There are more volunteer days available later in June!
