After much time marinating Jaques Derrida's concept of the Wholly Other, the singularity and absolute responsibility to the other, I have curated a night of conceptual films that I believe elaborates these themes.
Featuring films by Andrew Huang, Noemie Lafrance, Konstantinos Menelaou, Alexandra Roxo, Richard Sylvarnes, Shal Ngo, Sarah Small, Taxiplasm and more!

Contaminate NYC and myself are pleased to present Out of The Box, a fundraiser event for the new Taxiplasm film series: Above Our Heads & Below Our Feet.

Above our Heads & Below our Feet is a three-year long film project inspired by the music of Colin Stetson with themes of institution, man versus animal, and our relationship with the divine. The 'Out of the Box' benefit will be the first of multiple events inspired by my commitment to collaborate with other artists in a multi-disciplinary approach who share a responsibility to communicate these themes and believe in the power of images.

Performances include : Mystical Weapons, featuring Sean Lennon, Hydra, The Click Clack Boom and aerialist Seanna Sharpe
