River To River Festival kicks off on June 17 with the Bang on a Can Marathon at World Financial Center Winter Garden and continues seven days a week for four weeks through July 15. Philip Glass, Alarm Will Sound, Trisha Brown Dance
Company, Sylvain Émard Danse, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic, Veronica Falls are just some of the artists and acts bringing Lower Manhattan to life this summer! Join us for Monday Movie Nights presented in assocation

PUBLIC PROGRAMS |

LMCC's LentSpace in Hudson Square is now open Tuesdays through Thursdays from 11AM-3PM, with programming at 1PM. Come to LentSpace for food, entertainment, and more. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday features a new selection of food
trucks, curated by the Food Truck Association, with performances from LMCC's artists and friends. Come check out the newest lunch spot in Hudson Square!

The Gallery
Transforming Function features artists who–by excavating the fields of technology, science, architecture, and/or design–repurpose theoretical tools, virtual platforms, and formal techniques to inform their diverse
conceptual and aesthetic investigations. The exhibition is open throughout the Public Access season on Saturdays, Sundays, and holiday Mondays, 12–5PM. The exhibition will feature additional programing such as demonstrations and

Grants for 2012 Arts Projects – Guidelines and application will be available on July 2
Each year LMCC awards grants in every artistic discipline, across Manhattan's
neighborhoods through
The Fund for Creative Communities and the
Manhattan Community Arts Fund. These programs provide grants
of up to $5,000 to help arts organizations and individual artists engage
communities and the public through quality arts projects.
To learn more about the programs and how to apply,
attend an information session this summer. Registration and schedule will be available on June 20.

This workshop reviews basic information that artists need as they begin to research and apply for grants. The session will review types of funding sources, frequently used terms in fundraising, what happens once your application is
submitted, and processes to follow and understand from the initial inquiry through receipt of a grant. To register, visit LMCC's

LMCC will welcome 20 artists to
Basic Finance for Artists (BFA), LMCC's free, annual personal finance seminar this summer! NYC artists working across a range of disciplines were chosen by lottery. From June 5-July 10, the artists will meet every week to develop a
greater financial awareness and balance. We look forward to an exciting six weeks of budgeting, cash flow, taxes, credit, and financial planning!

Katy Rubin – Rejection Reflections
Theater director Katy Rubin works with a new performing ensemble of LGBTQ youth who have experienced homelessness to present the world premiere of an original, interactive play, Rejection Reflections.
