Two important application deadlines are approaching for Verge Art Fair
Miami Beach, taking place December 6-9, concurrent with Art Basel:

GALLERY APPLICATIONS: DEADLINE FRIDAY, JUNE 15
The deadline for Verge / Basel Miami gallery applications is in 10 days on
June 15. Apply by next Friday, and receive premium placement among the
best spots in the show and free furniture removal. Each gallery exhibitor
with Verge will receive a roughly 350 sq ft room, transformed into a
spacious readymade white cube exhibition space. Apply by June 15 and the
rate is only $3,500 (less a $500 deposit).

ARTIST PROJECT SPACES: DEADLINE SUNDAY, JUNE 10
The deadline for the Verge Miami Basel Artist Project Open Call free
airfare and hotel promotion is in 5 days on this Sunday, June 10, 2012. To
kick off the newly-minted Artist Project section at this year's Verge
Miami Beach, all artists who complete their application by June 10 will be
registered into a competition to receive free roundtrip airfare and
accommodations to and from this year's Verge Art Fair Miami Beach. CLICK

An affordable option for artists looking for exposure and visibility to
both galleries and visitors to the fair, and vetted to ensure the freshest
work, the Artist Project section at Verge Miami Beach will showcase the
cutting edge.

Here's how it works: artists apply to the Artist Project section and then,
upon acceptance, for a fee of $800, each artist will be given one third of
a room or, for $1,250, one half of a room at Verge Art Miami Beach 2012.
If you'd like to have a room entirely to yourself, the option is available
to purchase the whole room for $2,400. (Please note that due to City of
Miami Beach fire code regulations, all furniture must be removed from the
rooms and artists will not be allowed to stay in them during the exhibit).

TOMORROW STARS ARTIST OPEN CALL AT VERGE MIAMI BEACH 2012
Premiered at the inaugural Verge: Art Brooklyn, 'Tomorrow Stars' has
proven an important platform for artists to receive essential exposure to
gallerists, museum curators, press and collectors. We are looking for the
best in not-yet-seen before new work; finalists selected by our panel of
distinguished jurors will be given space to exhibit one work from their
application at Tomorrow Stars Miami. Works selected by the panel will be
exhibited at Verge Art Miami in a special artist's spotlight section. This
open call is available to all artists practicing in every media in and
outside of Miami. Applications are now being accepted for

ALL ENTRIES ARE JUDGED IN THE ORDER THEY ARE RECEIVED. To ensure a fair
