The Museum of Nebraska Art offers the following classes this July for kids, teens, and adults.
FOR TEENS
Abstract Plastic Sculpture!
Use your imagination to create an organic form sculpture with transparent, colored glass. Offered in conjunction with the Sculpture Garden Series exhibition

Time: 9:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
Taught by: Chris Dolan, art certified teacher
Cost: $30 members, $35 non-members
FOR ADULTS
Abstract Still Life Painting!
Explore how various artists have depicted the still life using different media and styles to interpret the subject matter. Stephanie Hansen guides you through the exhibition In the Stillness. Then, get messy and creative by painting your own free-style, abstract
still life using your hands. Participants provide their own art supplies.
Thursday, June 14
Time: 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. with lunch break
Taught by: Stephanie Hansen, artist
Cost: $50 members, $55 non-members
Registrations for all classes are due 4 days before class starts. Fees are non-refundable after the class begins.
