As we bid adieu to our 38th year, we thought we’d look back at what an amazing year it’s been. We:
-
Produced 7 exhibitions featuring the work of 55 artists including 27 local artists.
-
Offered an impressive lineup of 51 educational programs – almost a program a week.
-
Published a new book, The Art Life: On Creativity and Career, carried in major museum shops and bookstores across the country.
-
Honored another deserving Nexus Award recipient - Lisa Cremin, Director of the Metropolitan Atlanta Arts Fund.
-
Partnered with: Dashboard Co-Op, Artadia, gloATL, Gardenhouse, High Museum of Art, Savannah College of Art and Design, Andy Ditzler, WonderRoot, Dance Truck, Georgia Tech School of Architecture, Atlanta Celebrates Photography, and the Westside Arts District to name a few.
-
Provided 14 onsite subsidized studio spaces to local artists and showcased their talents.
-
Offered another year with a weekly free day, plus extended hours and programming making contemporary art accessible to more people (Thanks Perennial Properties).
How did we do all this? With the help of people like you.
In honor of our 38th year and to help us reach our $38,000 goal, please consider making a donation in some celebratory multiple of $38 (like $76, $152, or $380). We are nearing our goal but need your help to close the gap. A donation in any amount directly supports our mission, plus it’s 100% tax-deductible.
Or make a donation by check: Atlanta Contemporary Art Center, ATTN: Annual Fund, 535 Means Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30318.
Two other great ways to give:
