KESTING/RAY is pleased to announce that their project space in Bushwick will be open to the public again this weekend. Following its highly successful launch in conjunction with Bushwick Open Studios, the Brooklyn gallery branch will open its doors again presenting works by gallery artists.
The group exhibition will be open 12 - 6 pm on Saturday June 09 and Sunday June 10 at KESTING/RAY Bushwick, located at 257 Boerum St., Brooklyn NY.
KESTING/RAY is thrilled to be a part of the supportive artist community evidenced by the excitement surrounding last weekend's Bushwick Open Studios events highlighting over 500 art spaces in Bushwick.
The New York Times appreciated the innovative feel of the space in an
article written on Thursday, writing that KESTING / RAY Bushwick is
"purposefully integrated into its new environment." In today's
Artinfo article profiling our Brooklyn gallery, Co-Director David Kesting states:
"[In Bushwick] we’ll focus more on what the artist vision is... and in SoHo what you’ll find is more of a traditional showcase consistent with the art market. There’s so much talent in Bushwick. We can easily stack an 18-month schedule — easily — just pulling from the studios around us.”
In addition to the group exhibition on display in Brooklyn, our SoHo space is highlighting key works by
Darlene Charneco, Alyssa Dennis, Stephanie Dotson, Brian Leo, Roberto Mollá, Tod Seelie and Swoon. Following this weekend, KESTING/RAY's Brooklyn gallery will be open for viewings by appointment and special events, while our SoHo location will continue to be open Wednesday - Sunday 12 - 6pm.
KESTING / RAY is an innovative gallery and creative catalyst in New York whose mission is to discover and advance the most important contemporary artists transforming concepts of space and identity. For more information, visit kestingray.com.
