2nd Annual Sacramento Pan-African Import Show

(Sacramento, CA) – The 2nd Annual Sacramento Pan-African Import Show (SPAIS) is a highly anticipated free event featuring a dynamic selection of recently imported African works of art, Shona sculptures, exquisite handcrafted collectable fine crafts and artifacts from West and South Africa. Zimbabwe Shona have become world renown for their artistry, history, and symbolism and is one of the most collectible forms of African art.

Hosted by the Spears Gallery and Evolve the Gallery, this event is meant to engender fellowship and cultural understanding among attendees and expose them to African culture through fine arts and crafts and the origins where they were created. The community at large will experience the richness of African culture and its impact on Western culture. Last year, over 400 people attended the inaugural event and reached participants from the Bay as well as Stockton area.

This family-friendly import show offers a wide variety of affordable and quality art. In addition, the works have been imported using Fair Trade practices to support the talented artists of South and West Africa.
