Oh Michelle, Don't Go!
The Hyde Park Art Center says goodbye to our School and Studio Director

Our School and Studio Director, Michelle Beckett, is leaving us after over a decade of service. Over the years the Art Center has grown along with her—from serving 5,000 to 45,000—and Michelle has helped shape the future of our expanding education programs with her expertise and Canadian wit. Oh, how the Art Center will miss her! But don’t worry, we have an incredible new staff member coming on board. We're delighted to welcome Jen Tremblay to our family as we bid a fond farewell to Michelle. As her departing gift to the Art Center (we’ll take what we can get), Michelle sat down with us and reflected on her time here. “I am extremely confident that I am leaving you in good hands,” she said as we sat and chatted at the front desk.
