NEW YORK – Hogarth Worldwide, the world’s leading international marketing and advertising implementation agency, is hosting a summer group art installation of NYC based emerging artists opening on Thursday June 28, 2012, from 6 - 8 pm. The show, titled Transformation-Transcreation, celebrates the transformation of formerly raw/blank space into something unique and beautiful, while simultaneously connecting to viewers across and beyond all languages and cultures.
The exhibition is organized around twelve separate spaces on the 11th floor of Hogarth Worldwide’s 230 Park Avenue South offices, and consists of 12 different NYC-based emerging artists, each showing his/her work in a separate room. These works embrace various art practices across a wide range of media including video installation, sculpture, painting, photography, interactive/performance art documentation and relational aesthetics work.
The artists included in this initial show are: David Arky, Sara Bowen, Fred Cray, Mark Dagley, Peter Demos, Jay Gaskill, William Holton, Karen Margolis, Shawn Powell, Blair Seagram, James Weingrod, and Timur York.
The show’s opening reception is Thursday June 28, 2012 from 6 – 8 pm. It will run through September 21, 2012, and is open for viewing (after the opening), by appointment.
