Meet our Curator of the Month: Margaret Coleman   Margaret Coleman is an artist and curator residing in Brooklyn. She received her BFA in Sculpture from the University of MN in 2005 and her MFA in New Forms of Art from Pratt Institute in 2009. She has received several awards for her work including a Jerome Foundation Fellowship in 2006, and the St Louis Park Art Grant in 2008 and 2009. In 2010 she received a fellowship to spend three months making work at NesArtist Residency in Iceland. She is currently Associate Curator of the Thomas Hunter Projects and adjunct faculty at Hunter College.   Meet our Juror for the Ground Arts Summer Competition: Jason Stopa of NY Arts Magazine Jason Stopa, the juror for the Spring/Summer 2012 Competition, is the Executive Editor at NY Arts Magazine and currently lives and works in New York.  After completing his MFA at  Pratt Institute, he has become an active writer, curator and artist in New York.   He currently writes for White Hot Magazine, The Brooklyn Rail, artUS and On-Verge.  He has had group and solo exhibits in New York, Denver, North Carolina and Canada.     Our Artist of the Month: Jan Brandt  Read about Jan's work here.
