FALL SEASON AT WEX ANNOUNCED
Ticket presale begins August 3 for members, August 11 for general public

The Wexner Center for the Arts is pleased to announce a full slate of events this fall, featuring artists from Japan, Brazil, Mexico, the south Sahara, Scotland, New York, and beyond.  Among the highlights:
  • Annie Leibovitz, a major exhibition featuring more than 200 works by the famed photographer. This show will fill all galleries and the center’s lower lobby September 22–December 30.
  • The world premiere of Bebe Miller Company’s dance theater work A History (September 27–30), supported by a Wexner Center Artist Residency Award, in conjunction with an exhibition about Miller’s life and career at the Urban Arts Space downtown.
  • A rollicking show by National Theatre of Scotland, in their local debut, in a pub-like setting at the CD101 Big Room in the Brewery District October 31–November 4.
  • Harry Belafonte is coming to talk with Ohio State’s Michelle Alexander about his life, career, and activism in a special event on October 26 in Mershon Auditorium that also includes a screening of Sing Your Song, a new documentary about Belafonte.
  • The Intergalactic Nemesis Book One: Target Earth, a live-action graphic novel for all ages that’s been a hit across the country, coming here October 12.
  • Creative Engines: A Conversation with Sergio Marchionne and John C Jay on October 8, featuring the CEO of Chrysler/Fiat (Marchionne) and ad agency wiz and Ohio State alum John Jay discussing innovation, bold creative practice, reshaping a brand, and more, as part of the citywide idUS international design festival.
  • Castles in the Sky, a monthlong celebration in November of the animated films by Hayao Miyazaki (Spirited Away), as well as other works produced in his Ghibli animation studio.
  • Universal Pictures: Celebrating 100 Years is a monthlong series in December featuring such classic titles as DraculaPillow Talk, and All Quiet on the Western Front.
  • Kicking off our longterm program thread focusing on Brazil are screenings September 13 and 14 of Neighboring Sounds, the debut film of Kleber Mendonça Filho, who will be here to introduce. And on September 23, São Paulo Underground will perform.
