Call for photobooks closes
18 July
It's been great to be receiving lots of interesting photobooks again and now the call is mid-way through, it's time to make sure your book's in the post, or that dummy book you've been working on is nearing completion, as the call will close in 25 days!
Thanks to everyone that has put work forward already, we have been really happy to get a great standard of work sent in from all over the world.
How to submit
We have an
online submission form on the website, where you can enter your details and pay the submission fee of £5 securely via paypal.
Please note on the form that you will have the option to post your book to a
UK or
Finnish address - it doesn't matter what address you post to.
Once you have registered this information via the website, you will need to post your book to us to arrive before the
closing deadline of 18 July 2012.
If you are unable to post your book to us, under some circumstances we will allow PDF submissions. For example, this may be because you have only one copy which is being exhibited elsewhere - please email us first if you would like to do this.

We are really pleased to be working with, and be supported by, Brighton bookshop Sandpiper books during the upcoming shows. More about their involvement next time, but for now visit their North Laine shop where you can find great design, visual culture and photography titles and information about what is going on in Brighton.

Margate Photo Festival 3

Our venues...
We are really happy to be working with two great venues for these next two shows. Create in Brighton is a large photography studio which also holds and hosts numerous events for the photographic and design community here in Brighton. In Finland we have been invited to show work at the Finnish Museum of Photography, or Suomen Valokuvataiteen Museo as they call it over there, and we can't wait to see the other exhibitions showing at the same time.

Our good friend Andrew T Cross who built the 9m floating table for B Book Show back in March has spent the last month building a fantastic new venue and bar at the London Pleasure Gardens.
He and his team have been getting to grips with over 5km of reclaimed scaffold planks and some old bus windows to acheive the feat, and it will be opening to the public this weekend as part of a great free festival Paradise Gardens. More info at
We are in the process of developing an online shopfront to distribute some titles that have limited outlets or are being made in small quantities at the moment. To start with we will focus on the newspaper based productions we have been taking to book and zine fairs this year, so get in touch if you'd like to speak to us about getting your work out there - no edition too small!!
