The Voyager 1 spacecraft is entering interstellar space following a 35-year journey.  Join astronomy educator Tim Cole for a down-to-earth lecture and discussion about this remarkable space voyage

7:30 pm: A presentation by Peter Watson on the discovery of exoplanets.  
8:30 pm: Robert Dick of Royal Astronomical Society of Canada (RASC) will speak about  "Jewels of the Summer Sky"
Aprox 9:00 pm: Our Annual Streetwide Telescope Party held on Julian Ave.

(across from the Cube) featuring telescopes, videos and star viewing courtesy members of RASC.  This evening star party will be held on the first private street in Canada to vote to turn off their streetlights (and block the street) for this incredible night sky event.  BRING THE KIDS!
