Gustav Klimt: The Magic of Line
Through September 23 | The Getty Center

"A dynamic and compelling glimpse at one of the most rebellious and impassioned artists of the age." —Forbes

Discover the beautiful and evocative drawings of Gustav Klimt in this major retrospective, which explores the stylistic evolution of his drawings as well as their centrality to his work. Klimt's drawings are characterized by an unsurpassed mastery of line, from his early days as a student, through his avant-garde years, to his maturity as a modern master.

The exhibition is organized by the Albertina Museum, Vienna, in association with the J. Paul Getty Museum, to mark the 150th anniversary of Klimt's birth.
