The Big Draw: Art for Toddlers at The Model
Last week The Model hosted a magical journey of art and discovery for young artists; The Big Draw sponsored by Allied Irish Bank. The workshop was a vibrant success as children as young as two had the opportunity to explore a world of colour, inspired by The Queen Of Colours, a children's book by German author Jutta Bauer.
The three day event was led by visual artist, professional dancer and performer, Kate Wilson who transformed herself into the Queen of Colours each day leading the children through a magical world of vibrant colour.
The Big Draw is a yearly event The Model's programme and is a creative, safe space for parents and toddlers to confidently explore art and their imaginations. The Big Draw is kindly supported by Allied Irish Bank.
The Model would like to thank all the little artists, the big artists and the parents who participated.
