What A Week!
What happened was:
Clifford Owens presided over Photographs With An Audience, his ongoing series which asks audience members questions â if they'd been to therapy or tried drugs or would take their clothes off. Lights flashed and the camera shutter clicked, documenting brave participants. And we had a great opening for Deliverance, with hundreds of hot Atlantans. At the Artist Talk, exhibiting artists discussed why they put themselves into such intense situations. Laura Ginn led a workshop and demonstrated how to skin a rat and tan its hide. Ramsey Yount and Tori LaConsay prepared a delicious rat BBQ, folks gathered in our courtyard, drank moonshine, and tested their culinary limits. We were reminded of the outrageous joys of contemporary art and the pleasures of community spirit.
