Guild Fine Craft Fair [August 4 & 5]
at Chase Center on the Riverfront, Wilmington
Celebrating our sixth year in Wilmington
Whether it’s for a wedding, birthday, anniversary, house warming present or special thank you, locally-made designer craft makes a great gift with a story that is sure to make someone happy.
The Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen celebrates its 6th anniversary as the Brandywine Valley’s largest premier fine craft fair featuring more than 190 independent local and regional craft artists! This beloved event returns on August 4th and 5th at the Chase Center on the Riverfront. Loyal art patrons and craft collectors from around the region descend on Wilmington, in search of invigorating contemporary and heritage fine crafts.
The 2012 fair features thousands of designs from independent American artists including furniture, clothing, jewelry, sculpture, and fine art. The Guild is known for uniting impeccable craftsmen with craft-seeking customers in search of one-of-a-kind objects made in America. This annual two-day event delivers exceptional works to a savvy audience.
“Enjoying authentically unique American craft has become a lifestyle choice for many casual collectors,” said Sherrie Boyer, executive director. “We all want to cheer up our space with beautiful things. It makes us happy. It makes others happy. Craft is a very accessible form of inspiration on a day-to-day basis.”
Fair hours are 10 am to 6 pm Saturday, and 10 am to 5 pm Sunday. Admission is $8. Free for children 12 and under. Free parking is plentiful.
