KENOSHA, WI – Join members of the
Pickard Collectors Club for a China Road Show from 2-4 p.m. Saturday,
August 11 at the Kenosha Public Museum. Pickard China collectors will
be on hand to help identify and provide information about the history
of your own collection of china. Bring
up to four pieces of Pickard or other china to have examined. No
appraisals will be offered.
Prior
to the road show, Pickard Collectors Club members will give a gallery
talk at 1 p.m. in the Mary Frost Ashley Treasures Gallery. Collectors
will share stories about their china, the history of the company and
the artists who designed the patterns.
“Midwestern
Treasures: Pickard China and its Contemporaries” is on exhibit at
the Kenosha Public Museum through March 2013. Both programs and the
exhibit are free and open to the public.
