CALL FOR ARTISTS On Saturday, November 3, 2012 the Joseph C. Monastra (JCM)
Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research will host its 2nd Annual benefit
Art Auction in Atlanta, Georgia at the Bill Lowe Gallery, entitled
ArtCAN. In order to draw awareness to pancreatic cancer,
the Joseph C. Monastra Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research (JCM
Foundation) will feature selected works from acclaimed artists who are
cancer survivors or who have had their lives affected by cancer.
If you are an artist and a cancer survivor or have been affected
closely by cancer, we are encouraging you to submit your art for our fund
raising auction. Selected artists will receive:
Featured profile page on the ArtCAN website, consisting of artist
profile picture, artist statement and bio, 2-4 images of work, video (if
provided), and direct link from the ArtCAN website to the artists` website
or gallery, if represented. Please visit our website at www.jcm-ArtCAN.org
Each artist will be promoted through a large social media campaign
via Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube, and on all press releases
20% commission of the purchase price of each piece of art that is
auctioned
Two complimentary tickets to the auction event
Artists are requested to submit a body of available artwork to be
reviewed by an esteemed curatorial panel consisting of Marianne Lambert,
highly regarded Curator of The Swan Coach House Gallery, Jerry Cullum,
accomplished art critic, and Timothy Tew, respected gallery owner of TEW
Contemporary Fine Art Gallery. If selected by the curatorial panel to be
one of the exclusive artists featured in this prestigious auction, you may
be asked to submit up to 4 pieces of work. (Special note: As submissions
are coming from all over the world, please be aware that shipping costs
will be the responsibility of the artist.) All work must be
exhibit-ready.

review. The Joseph C. Monastra Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer
Research was established in 2002 in honor of the father and
husband who passed away only four weeks after being diagnosed with
pancreatic cancer. The JCM Foundation supports the leading pancreatic
cancer research at Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions (JHMI). We hope you
will help us raise awareness and funding for this deadly disease. For more
