This event is your chance to get access to the spaces where their ambition, mastery of materials, and outrageous ideas all mix. Come meet them and enjoy three other enticements: Food (tasty morsels by a cool caterer), Drinks (let the wine and beer flow), and Music by Bernadette Seacrest (acclaimed femme fatale singer, voted Best Local Vocalist by Creative Loafing in 2010). Curator Tour: Deliverance Deconstructed

Contemporary Talks: Greg Tate

This season's Contemporary Talks series starts with writer, musician, and producer Greg Tate, lecturing about the history of Afrofuturism and black science fiction. Tate was Staff Writer at the Village Voice from 1987 to 2005, and his writings have been published in The New York Times, Artforum, and Vibe, among others. Read more.
