With his fusion of street-art and islamic script.. We can also confirm the UK's finest Nasheed Group 'Shaam' performing many of their beautiful devotional songs. 11 July - 27 August Partner Project, Lakeside Arts Centre Kashif Nadim Chaudry, Memes See Kashif Nadim Chaudry’s stunning and dramatic exhibition of new work produced during his residency at the Lakeside during 2010 and 2011. In this work, he pursues his interest in the idea of opulence and excess spilling over into tumour and disease and impotent acts and contradictory spaces. Admission: FREE Age range: All are welcome Read more   31 March - 16 September Partner Project, Nottingham Castle Living in Silk & Unravelled Combining artefacts from the collection of the China National Silk Museum, Hangzhou, with Unravelled, a companion display drawn from Nottingham City Museums and Galleries' own collection of Chinese textiles. The exhibitions continues right through the summer at Nottingham Castle with a full programme of drop-in events and activities taking place over the holidays. Read more   20 July - 30 September Partner Project, Nottingham Contemporary Francis Upritchard & Alfred Kubin Francis Upritchard revisits the medieval myths of Nottingham in her exhibition A Hand of Cards. Some of her works that play on disappeared societies and have migrated into Alfred Kubin's exhibition.
