F.Y.I. (For Your Information) is a three day
exhibition and
outdoor screening, revisiting public information and government commissioned films from the 1930's to the year 2000. From early animation works to informative musicals these films were intended to empower British citizens with information.
Exhibition open daily 11am – 6pm FREE
On Thursday 30 August there is a
special outdoor screening of ‘
Persona Non Grata’ (1962) a feature-length dramatized security training film, selected and introduced by
BFI curator Katy McGahan.
Screening Thur 30 August. Gallery open from 7pm to see the exhibition and get a drink from the bar. Introductory talk 8pm & screening 8.30pm FREE
F.Y.I. is funded by the Greater London Authority as part of the Mayor of London’s Showtime festival.
Upcoming: Beauty is the First Test

A group exhibition that explores contemporary craft and mathematical concepts.
'Beauty is the First Test' will reveal that craft and mathematics are more closely bound together than many perceive and hopes to demonstrate that the enjoyment of one can enhance the understanding of the other.

The Pump House Gallery Participatory Photography commission has been awarded to artist collective BBKP. They will be at the gallery at various times throughout Autumn inviting you to get involved with their artist experiments, to create new works for their exhibition at the gallery 6th February – 7th April 2013.
