(Bartlesville, Okla.) Planning has already started for the annual Family Arts Festival at Price Tower Arts Center in downtown Bartlesville. The event, in its tenth year, is set for October 13 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The festival is free for all to attend. The day-long event includes hands-on crafts and games for kids of all ages to enjoy with their families. Each year the Family Arts Festival includes a youth art show and a scavenger hunt inside the Price Tower. For the first time, festival coordinators added a sidewalk chalk art contest to this year’s schedule.
As in years past, there will be food vendors offering food and drinks at a nominal cost, free musical performances and other special entertainment that will highlight some of the local talent that Bartlesville has to offer. Additionally, there will be an art bazaar for regional artists to show and sell their creations. Applications for this space are still being taken. Please contact Deshane Atkins for more information by calling 918.336.4949 ext or at
