All that jazz: a new season, new classes, and new artists!

If you're anything like us, you've noticed fall making a subtle entrance this month. We've seen leaves on the ground and the sun setting earlier, and even the air has a certain crispness to it. Change always excites us, and we're thrilled to greet the new season with new art classes , new programs, new exhibitions , and new artists in our residency studios.

This month, we'll celebrate three incredible exhibitions, host an Education Summit , bring back Second Sundays, and launch The Residency , which brings artists from around the world to live and work in Chicago. Our new resident artists will be arriving in September, giving you your first chance to get to know them at EXPO Chicago.

Plus, this month we're a site for Hyde Park Jazz Fest , so music makers and lovers will have a place on our plaza Saturday, September 29, when The Ross Brothers Project and the Tony Milano Trio will serenade us from 2-4.30 pm.

Join us in September and fall back in to the Art Center!
