F.Y.I. is a three day exhibition and an outdoor screening, revisiting public information and government commissioned films from the 1930's to the year 2000. From early animation works to informative musicals these films were intended to empower British citizens with information. Accompanying exhibtion essay by writer Colin Perry. Exhibition open daily 11am – 6pm ( for three days only) FREE
Tomorrow, Thursday 30 August, there will be special outdoor screening of ‘ Persona Non Grata’ (1962) a feature-length dramatized security training film, selected and introduced by BFI curator Katy McGahan. Gallery open from 7pm to see the exhibition and get a drink from the bar. Introductory talk 8pm & screening 8.30pm. (In the unfortunate event of wet weather we will set-up an alternative screening inside) FREE
