Simulations" is a collection of photo collages which depict psychological and emotional imagery by merging the human figure with various forms of nature. Conceptually, the images are derived from an intuitive level and act as a surreal interpretation of human emotions and feelings. The series explores, as well as challenges the viewer's perceived relation between nature and human behavior. Through this unusual unification, "Simulations" confronts the idea that we as human beings have a disconnect with nature and our environment around us. With meticulous attention to detail, I execute my visual intentions by physically piecing prints together to create textures and depth within the images. By doing so, I marry opposing subjects between nature and the human form, into a cohesive visual illustration where they coexist.
