Dylan Martorell at Switchback Gallery Monash University Gippsland campus 4 September – 11 October D'ameublement Sound and installation artist Dylan Martorell is MUMA's artist in residence at the Gippsland Centre for Art & Design for 2012. Hiroshi Nakao Ian Potter Sculpture Court 8-22 September 2012 Launch: Saturday 8 September, 3.00-5.00pm Monash Architecture, together with artist-in-residence Hiroshi Nakao (Japan), presents Monash Steps/Stawell Steps, a project that explores – and celebrates – the use of the brick. Nakao is working with students to design a temporary installation in the Ian Potter Sculpture Court that acts as a precursor to a larger project to be constructed in the town of Stawell. This project has been supported by Northern Grampians Shire Council, Krause Bricks, Think Brick Australia and The Country Education Project.
