Dear All, I have published two new titles, both of which are available now. Another Time Another Place John Claridge 2012 28 pages 14cm x 20cm b/w digital Numbered edition of 100 -- Berlin Autobus Craig Atkinson 2012 40 pages 14cm x 20cm b/w digital Numbered edition of 100 This is a 'sequel' to 'Berlin', published in 2011. Berlin was an overview of a holiday; photographs I took as a tourist with no real intent other than to document a place at a certain time. Berlin Autobus is more specific. Still shot from the eye of a tourist but a more focussed selection of images, all taken from a three-hour 'City Tour' bus journey. The tour bus has to travel at the same rate as the other traffic, stopping occasionally for tourists to dis/embark, but not necessarily at any particular point of interest. Generally there is at least one head or a window frame blocking your view. As you stand to take a shot the bus turns, knocking you back down to your seat. These images were made while struggling with headphone volume and language selection and are presented in tour-route-order.
-- Tate Gallery have purchased more Café Royal titles for their special collection. They will be catalogued shortly. The Tate library archive is available to search online. -- I have updated Motto Books, Berlin, with new stock. Motto distribute Café Royal publications internationally. I'm taking part in the Manchester Artists Book Fair at MMU Holden Gallery - October 12th-13th. Wrexham zine fair, September 22nd. Lowbrow press fest in Antwerp in December and Bristol Artists Book Event in April at Arnolfini Gallery. I recently took part in the succesful Camera Club New York book festival. -- I have added some new sections to my website for ongoing photographic projects. I have been documenting Preston Bus Station since 2009 and will continue to do so. The project will one day be published. There is a general 'street photography' section and my 'Daily Photograph' blog. I take photographs of people using places; the 'changing city', public buildings and events. I'm interested in peoples' interraction with one-another and with the spaces they pass through.
